Louise Gertrude Blaine was born August 24th, 1915 at Welland, Ontario to
Otto James BLAINE and
Emma Belle Josephine ALLISON. She had one sister,
Rene (Minnie) Pauline BLAINE; and one brother
Eber Barton Vanbeurin BLAINE.
Louise married
Arthur (Art) Neville WARDEN on December 23, 1933 in St. Catharines. The service was solemnized by Baptist M.C. MacLean. Louise and Art had three boys together:
James (Jim) Arthur WARDEN,
Garry Neville WARDEN, and
Roy (Chic) WARDEN. They divorced March 23, 1953.
Louise married
George Edward BLAINE on July 25th, 1953 at her sister Minnie's house, 33 Whitworth Street, St. Catharines.
George was born in Campden on June 17, 1917. He had one son, William (Bill) BLAINE from an earlier marriage. He was a veteran and served with the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War II; and worked at the Shaver Hospital in maintenance until his retirement in 1982. George passed away August 10, 2004.
Until her retirement, Louise worked at Warren Knits.
Louise passed away quietly at Westpark Health Centre, the morning of Thursday, April 1, 2005. Her cremated remains are intered in the family plot at Woodlawn Cemetary in Welland, Ontario.
